The 5G-TACTIC Summer School brought together 25 participants from five European countries for three dledge exchange and networking focused on 5G network security.
The 5G-TACTIC workshop in Poland brought together representatives from research, public institutions and the telecommunications sector to discuss trust, resilience and security certification for next-generation networks.
The 5G-TACTIC Training Workshop on “Regulatory aspects of 5G networks Cybersecurity and Trust” was successfully held on 26 May 2026 at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
A dedicated ONDM workshop brought together experts from academia, industry and regulatory bodies to discuss cybersecurity challenges in European optical and 5G/6G networks, with emphasis on MANO, O-RAN and network services.
5G-TACTIC was represented at the IEEE Emerging Technologies Reliability Roundtable 2026 in Berlin, Germany, by Prof. Anna Tzanakaki, who delivered a presentation on the project’s vision and activities.

Proud to share that 5G-TACTIC was featured at the Athens INFOCOM World 2025 Conference Expo: “AI-VOLUTION – A Brave New World” on November 26.
On 13 November 2025, the project was presented at DefCamp 2025, the leading cybersecurity conference in Central and Eastern Europe. We extend our thanks to Valentin Constantinescu (DNSC) and Răzvan Mihai (Orange Romania) who introduced the project to the DefCamp audience, sharing its objectives and the progress made so far in boosting 5G network security, threat detection, and resilient communications.
On 7 October 2025, the 5G-TACTIC project was featured at the Bucharest Cybersecurity Conference 2025 during the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) Dissemination Event organised by NCC-RO and ECCC.
As a partner in the SAND5G consortium, p-NET Emerging Networks & Verticals successfully organized the second session in the “Through the Lens of…” webinar series, this time focusing on the pivotal role of governments in securing 5G infrastructures – particularly in cross-border contexts.
